Rooted in love · Guided by knowledge · Elevated by sincerity
"To Him ascend the good words, and the righteous deeds raise it" — Surah Fatir 35:10

About
This academy was founded by two sisters as the reflection of a small yet heartfelt dream — a dream rooted in gratitude towards our beloved parents, who left the States, and made countless sacrifices so that their children could be blessed with the opportunity to learn Islamic knowledge.
While there are many worldly ways to express appreciation and give something back, we found ourselves thinking beyond the temporary. We asked ourselves: what if there was a way to repay even a fraction of their efforts in a form that does not fade with time? What if we could establish something that would continue to benefit them long after we are gone — a continuous source of Sadaqah e Jariyah for our parents, and a means of Eesaal e Sawab for our beloved late grandfather?
With this intention, Al Kalimah Academy was born — not merely as an institution, but as an offering of love, in their honor, and as a tribute to them, while also becoming a means for us to grow spiritually, to ensure that whatever we learn and teach becomes a source of guidance and khayr for ourselves before anyone else.
This is a humble beginning — a small seed that has been gently planted with sincerity and hope. And with the infinite fazl of Allah, the precious duas of our elders, and our own continued dedication, we pray and trust that it will grow into something meaningful & impactful, that will reach great heights.
Our Pillars
Every lesson is grounded in pure intention — for Allah, before all else.
Carrying the Noor of knowledge to light the path for every student.
Rooted in authentic Islamic scholarship passed down through generations.
Nurturing the spiritual and moral development of every soul we teach.
وَمَا تَوۡفِيۡقِيۡۤ اِلَّا بِاللّٰهِ ؕ عَلَيۡهِ تَوَكَّلۡتُ وَاِلَيۡهِ اُنِيۡبُ"My success is only through Allah. Upon Him I rely, and to Him I turn." — Surah Hud 11:88

Meaning & Identity
"To Him ascend the good words,
and the righteous deeds raise it"
— Surat ul Fatir, Ayah 10
Represents knowledge, wisdom, and the pursuit of Islamic education.
Symbolise ascension towards Allah, as echoed in the Quranic tagline.
Represents Noor (divine illumination), Hope, and Service — burning to give light to others.
Al Kalimah — "a meaningful word" in Arabic — was suggested by the founders' beloved mother. The tagline was contributed by their older brother, devoted to serving the deen through teaching and tarbiyah.
What We Offer
The foundational courses currently offered at the academy primarily include Tajweed, Nazrah, and the Arabic Language — for ladies & kids. This, however, is only the beginning.
The science of correct Quranic recitation, with precision and beauty.
Quranic reading and fluency for beginners and developing students.
Foundational Arabic for ladies & kids to unlock the language of the Quran.
Alongside academic learning, we aim to organize workshops, tarbiyah sessions, and faith-nurturing talks focused on character development and spiritual growth. Interactive activities for students will be conducted from time to time.
